The scholarship search process is a student-driven one.  It is the responsibility of the student and parent to identify and apply for relevant scholarships.  To assist our families with this process, we have provided the links and websites listed below.

Don’t forget to check the website of each individual college or university that you are considering for information about specific scholarships offered by that school.  You will find information about these school-specific scholarships on the Financial Aid page of the school’s website.

Rubincam Youth Award

The Rubincam Youth Writing Competition was established in 1986 to honor Milton Rubincam, CG, FASG, FNGS, for his many years of service to the National Genealogical Society and to the field of genealogy. These awards encourage and recognize our youth as the next generation of family historians.

Barbara Lotze Scholarships for Future Teachers

The AAPT Board of Directors offers scholarships for future high school physics teachers. These scholarships, supported by an endowment funded by Barbara Lotze, are available only to U.S. citizens attending U.S. schools.

OHM Advisors Diversity Scholarship

OHM Advisors is committed to the academic success of women and minority students. Established in 2018, our Diversity Scholarship Program is open to qualified women and minority students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a STEM program or other related field of practice at OHM Advisors.

NSCA High School Scholarship

This program provides funding to high school seniors preparing to enter college. Students must demonstrate their acceptance into an accredited institution, their intention to graduate with a degree in the strength and conditioning field, their goals beyond college, and their track record of community service.

Overcoming the Impossible Scholarship

No one can put a price on someone’s life or well-being. The struggle and challenges that surround a traumatic event, like a traffic collision or a personal injury, can leave them in a shadow of themselves. Overcoming that tragedy makes you stronger for yourself and others who hear your story.

AWS Welder Training Scholarship

The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.  The scholarship cannot be used towards an associates or bachelor’s degree program.

Burger King Scholars Program

Through the Burger King Scholars Program, we have awarded nearly $55 million to over 45,000 students across North America since 2000. Our goal is to grant one scholarship for every BK restaurant in North America –that translates to more than $7 million each year!

The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) invites all Eagle Scouts interested in the American Revolution to participate in the Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest. The contest is open to all Eagle Scouts who are currently registered in an active unit and, except as provided in the paragraph below, have not reached their nineteenth birthday during the year of application. Thiel Fellowship

Founded by technology entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel in 2011, the Thiel Fellowship is a two-year program for young people who want to build new things. Mindscape Big Picture Scholarship

The universe is extraordinarily complex, but it is also understandable. It is crucially important that we support young people who are passionate about working to understand it better. Burress Law Underdog Scholarships

Our team at Burress Injury Law is passionate about helping the “underdogs.” We represent victims who have suffered serious injuries or lost loved ones due to the negligence of others. Sallie Mae Scholarship

Meet one (1) of the four (4) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry:

Dr. David Stager Scholarship for Future Medical Students

This scholarship is available for students in the United States who are currently enrolled in a university or high school students who have plans to attend a university to study medicine.  The scholarship is meant to help a deserving student with scholarship funding who wishes to become a medical doctor.
